Tarot Equus pairs equine myths and legends from all over the world with tarot symbolism.  The deck is structured after the Waite-Smith tarot painted by Pamela Coleman Smith. Throughout the deck are stories of gods, spirits, legends, folk traditions, and monsters from all over the world. I want to paint a broad picture and tell a story of the horse’s influence on human imagination. They have been our partners for thousands of years, but there are only 78 cards in this deck. These paintings are watercolor and colored pencil.
